I started working with sound long before I ever thought it could become a career. I was 16 years old when a Korg DDM-110 drum machine, an SD Curley bass guitar, and an Atari ST 1040 pulled me into a world of electronics, bass grooves, and experimentation. Since then, I’ve been driven by the search for a balance between technology, music, and artistic identity.

That passion became a profession at Overlook Italia Studios and later in my own studios, Emerald Recordings and PlayRec, where I specialized in mixing Art-rock and Progressive music. I worked on releases within the Burning Shed circuit with artists such as Stefano Panunzi, Fjieri, Nicola Lori, and Gianluca D’Alessio, on projects featuring musicians like Gavin Harrison, Mick Karn, Theo Travis, Jakko Jakszyk, John Mitchell, Craig Blundell, Tim Bowness, Paolo Fresu, and many others.

At the same time, I built a strong background in electronic music, starting with progressive electronic tracks in the early 1990s and later focusing on producing and mixing synth, electro, and cinematic projects. I’ve collaborated with Johnson Righeira, Fred Ventura (Milano 84), Starship9 for Cinevox Records, Castelli, Venus in Disgrace, and Anna Soares and many others.

In the metal scene, my work spans a wide range of styles: from the crust sound of Dirty Power Games (Agipunk) to the crossover approach of Post-Fata Resurgo and the metalcore of Inside Process, from the grindcore of Degenerhate to the progressive metal of Theicon, through the doom of Rome in Monochrome, the post-rock of Arctic Plateau and the post/blackgaze textures of Still Wave.

I worked on the dubbing and synchronization of numerous TV series and films for Amazon Prime and Netflix (including Cowboy Bebop, The Witcher, Futurama and The Monkey King), refining my approach to tuning, editing, and the treatment of vocals and choirs.

Today, I work at the historic Delta Studio with artists who are looking for a personal, carefully crafted sound that stays true to their vision, without stylistic compromise. Whether it’s progressive rock, electronic music, or metal, my goal is always the same: to shape a distinctive and recognizable sonic identity.
